These terms and conditions apply to your use of the Alveque website and to any order you place with us. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About us
Alveque is a UK-based nutrition brand. Products are formulated and manufactured in the UK and sold directly to customers through this website.
2. Your privacy
We take the privacy of your personal data seriously. Details of what we collect and how we use it are set out in our Privacy Policy — please read it alongside these terms, as it forms part of our agreement with you.
3. Registration and your account
You don't need an account to browse the site, but you'll need to provide accurate order and contact details to place an order. If you do create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account — let us know straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
4. Orders & acceptance
Placing an order through our website is an offer to buy. We'll send you an order confirmation by email once you've checked out, but this is just confirmation that we've received your order — it doesn't mean we've accepted it. A contract between us is only formed once we send you a dispatch confirmation, at which point the order becomes binding on both of us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where a product is out of stock, priced in error, we're unable to obtain authorisation for your payment, or we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we'll notify you by email and issue a full refund as quickly as we can.
Once you've placed an order, you can ask us to change or cancel it, but we may not be able to make changes if it's already being packed or has been dispatched — contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
5. Our products
We currently sell Alveque Whey Protein and Alveque Kids' Multivitamin Gummies. We try to represent our products as accurately as possible, but packaging, labelling and product appearance can change slightly over time, and colours may vary a little depending on your screen. Minor differences of this kind don't affect your right to a product that matches its description and does what it's meant to do.
6. Age restrictions
You must be 18 or over to place an order on this website. Alveque Kids' Multivitamin Gummies are formulated for children within the age range stated on the packaging, but they must be purchased by an adult and given to children under adult supervision, in line with the recommended dosage on the label.
7. Allergens & dietary information
Alveque Whey Protein is made from milk and is not suitable for anyone with a dairy allergy or intolerance, and it is not suitable for vegans. Full ingredient and allergen information for every product is listed on the product packaging and on the relevant product page — please check this carefully before buying or using any of our products, especially if you or your child has a known allergy or health condition.
8. Pricing & payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Prices can change at any time, but changes won't affect an order you've already placed and paid for. Delivery charges, if any apply, are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but errors can occasionally occur — if we discover a pricing error on your order before dispatch, we'll contact you to let you know and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We won't be obliged to sell a product at an incorrect (lower) price where the error is obvious.
Payment is taken securely at the time of order through our payment provider. We don't store your full card details ourselves. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment details you provide are your own and that there are sufficient funds or credit available to cover the cost.
9. Delivery
We currently deliver within the UK, with international shipping planned for the future. Standard delivery typically takes 2–4 working days from dispatch, though delivery times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees, and orders may occasionally be delayed by factors outside our control, such as courier delays, adverse weather, or high demand around promotions.
It's your responsibility to make sure the delivery address and any access instructions you give us are correct and complete. If a delivery is missed because nobody was available to receive it, or the address details you gave us were incomplete, we'll do what we reasonably can to help re-arrange delivery, but we may need to charge for a second delivery attempt.
Risk in your order — responsibility for loss or damage — passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address you provided. Ownership of the products passes to you once we've received payment in full.
10. Subscriptions
Subscribing lets you receive a product on a rolling basis, at a delivery frequency you choose, without having to reorder manually each time. A subscription is a series of individual orders, each formed as a separate contract in line with section 4 above.
Price. Your subscription price is set out on the site when you subscribe. If we need to change the price of a subscribed product, we'll give you at least 14 days' notice before the new price applies to your next order, and you'll always have the chance to cancel before being charged at the new price.
Managing your subscription. We'll send you a reminder ahead of each upcoming order so you have the chance to skip, reschedule, or edit it — including changing the product, quantity, or delivery frequency — before it's processed. Once an order within your subscription has been processed, it can't be changed and will be charged and dispatched as normal.
Cancelling your subscription. There's no minimum contract period or cancellation fee. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard, or by contacting our support team — just make sure you cancel before the cut-off shown in your reminder notice, otherwise the next order in the cycle will already be underway.
Payment issues. If a scheduled payment fails — for example, an expired card — we'll try to let you know so you can update your payment details. If we're unable to take payment, we may pause or cancel that order in your subscription.
11. Returns & refunds
If you change your mind, you can return unopened, unused products within 14 days of delivery for a refund, in line with UK distance-selling rules. Products should be returned in their original packaging where possible, in a condition suitable for resale.
To start a return, contact our support team with your order number and we'll talk you through the process. Unless a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect (see section 12), the cost of returning it is your responsibility.
Once we've received and checked your return, we'll process your refund to the original payment method within 5–7 working days. Delivery charges are only refunded if the whole order is being returned and the return is due to our error.
12. Faulty or incorrect products
If a product arrives faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as you can — we'll arrange a replacement or refund, including for products you've already opened, where the fault isn't your doing. We may ask for photos or for the product to be returned to help us understand what went wrong.
13. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. These terms sit alongside those rights, not instead of them.
14. Product & health information
Our products are food supplements, not medicines, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Always check the full ingredients list on the product packaging, particularly if you have allergies or are taking medication. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescribed medication (including GLP-1 medication), or have an underlying health condition, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using our products. Content on this website, including Nora's Journal, is provided for general information only and is not medical advice.
15. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and images — belongs to Alveque or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, copy, or use our content commercially without our written permission.
16. Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or acting negligently, but we're not liable for losses that aren't foreseeable, or for business losses if you're using our products for a business purpose. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that can't legally be limited, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
17. Complaints
We hope you never need to, but if something goes wrong, please contact our support team first so we can put it right. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a complaint, you're entitled to raise it with your local Trading Standards service or an approved alternative dispute resolution provider.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our products or the law. The version published on this page is the one that applies, so please check back occasionally.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
20. Contact us
If you have any questions about these terms, or about an order, please get in touch with our team — we're happy to help.
